A fabulous 1940s Irish 22ct gold dress ring. Dating to 1942, this wonderful piece features a large rectangular purple-pink gemstone (tests as either paste or amethyst), claw-set above symmetrical split shoulders and a wonderfully rich, buttery yellow gold shank. At approx. 3.5 grams and crafted in rich 22ct gold, this is a substantial and unusual vintage piece, complete with Dublin hallmarks and offering plenty of presence.
